The Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation gives guidance and financial support to families of children with special needs. It functions to help families negotiate through the complicated system of services and support sources. The foundation recognizes the tremendous financial impact raising special children can have on the family.
The foundation will help fund medical equipment and services which may not be covered by insurance or only partially covered by insurance such as: wheelchairs, handicapped accessible vans, walkers, standers, gait trainers, bath chairs, beach chairs, car seats, feeding tube equipment, etc. Funds may also be allocated for in-home nursing care used for the purpose of providing respite for the parents or caregivers.
Molly’s family was lucky enough to care for and love their angel for ten years before she passed away. She was severely disabled, but anyone who came in contact with Molly would attest to the magic of her smile. The foundation was formed to allow Molly’s memory to live on by “touching” other families with angels of their own.
Families should send a detailed description of their request of help along with information about their special child and a photograph. The Foundation’s Board of Directors reviews each request. All requests and information about your child will be kept strictly confidential.
