LPG Treating Units 

(LPG-1 & LPG-2)

The LPG and fuel gas treating complex consists of a dual train design.  LPG-1 was originally designed and constructed in 1971 with a capacity of 3,600 b/d.  LPG-2, designed for 2,200 b/d, was originally constructed in 1954.

Numerous upgrades and revamps have been performed on these units attempting to meet ever changing environmental regulations concerning emissions.  The LPG-2 was most recently revamped in 2001, increasing the throughput by 90 mt/d.  Many of the control valves in these units were replaced in the last several years.  This revamp was due to increase in LPG recoveries from a Platformer stabilizer overhead condenser modification.
