The SRP complex was originally built in 1994, replacing an older system.  The Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) is rated for 40 t/d and utilizes Parson’s licensed technology.  The SRU design is based on a three (3) stage Claus catalytic reaction section plus a hydrogenation reactor.  The Sulfur Recovery Plant complex includes the refineries Amine absorber and regeneration system.  

The complex also includes a Thermal Oxidizer system for residual tail gases and a hot oil heater.  The hot oil heater shares the Oxidizer stack.
