 The Jet/Kerosene Merox (JMU), Unit 30, rated at 7,500 BPD, was installed in 1983 utilizing UOP technology. The unit has been converted from the original caustic system and now employs the aqueous ammonia extraction process using a 9’ diameter by 30’ T/T Merox reactor.  This modification was made in 1992.  A new clay filter was added in 2001.
