3,600 B/D Catalytic Reformer Unit
Catalytic Reformer Unit (CRU)
 The CRU was designed and built by Lummus in 1964. The system is currently rated for approximately 3,600 b/d and utilizes a three (3) reactor semi-regen design. The unit is complete with a SR Naphtha Debutanizer for feedstock preparation, Reboiled Absorber, Stabilizer, and a Depropanizer tower.
The reactors are hot wall and are constructed of 1.25Cr-0.5Mo material, which is acceptable for most current reforming applications.
The recycle hydrogen is provided to this unit by two (2) diesel driven Worthington compressors. This reduced the electrical loading on this unit and provided a very reliable source of hydrogen. The CRU is also equipped with a caustic scrubbing system.
